Spotty internet service and a packed schedule made it impossible to keep up this travel record in a timely manner. Poor service is okay if you are uploading a single image to Facebook - not so helpful when you have many large files. I could blame the infrastructure in former Soviet countries but there are plenty of weak connections in unmistakably First World locales, as well.
